Hey guys. Ive on a 06 1500 slt. Its PXR metallic black. Im gonna paint the grille shell body color. I have two grille's, my stock one on the truck is chrome with chrome bars, the other is chrome with black textured bars. Which do you guys think i should paint? I was thinking that the black grille with the chrome bars being the only chrome on the truck would look pretty good. Also i want to paint the chrome inside my headlights. Any tips on removing the lens. I removed the lens on my dakota lights by just throwing them in the oven for a bit at low temp. Anyone done this with these lihts? Thanks.

Jut the billet looks good too. I prefer all the plastic body matched.
Current mods: Exterior: 2003 RC short bed Ram. Chrome 20" Motto wheels, 275/55/20 Bridgestone Duelers, tint, functional SRT-10 Hood, Street Scene bumper cover, de-chromed and painted rear bumper, body matched grill shell, mirrors, door handles, tailgate handle and antenna mount, billet grill and bumper inserts, Bushwhacker street fender flares, polished "Ram" 3rd brake light cover. Engine: Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust, 3rd Strike dual filter with throttle body spacer. Audio: Alpine 9885 with IPod, Infiniti 3.5", 5.25" and 6x9's, two Kenwood DVC 12" subs with three Kenwood amps running it all through Monster Cable wiring. Optima red-top. Interior: Sueded headliner, color matched A&B pillars, overhead console, and rear light surround. Proudly serving our country with the Marine Corps for 12 years.        |

Ok thanks guys. I took my headlights apart tonight and painted them. I just finished spraying the clear on them. My grille shell and bumper insert are ready to go. Ill prime them in the morning and paint them tomorrow night.

Maybe you can help me since you have an 06.
I cant stand the reflector on the bottom of my headlights. Is there anyway to remove them? Rather not spend $200 or more on the 07 headlights at the stealership.   |

I dont know how you would be able to remove them and have it look good.
