My 2003 is rusting above each rear tire, on the box, about three inches up from the lip of the fender. Is anyone else experiencing this?
2003 graphite QC 4x4 hemi, Nerf bars, bed cover, mud flaps, and crome gas door, chrome door handles, chrome fender trim, Debbaged, aero turbine 3030 exhaust and tip looking to do alot more!!!! |

...I only have rust in one spot...on the back fender where I came down on a rock, so its my fault
 How bad is your rust?? Its not just spots on the clear coat is it??? You can clay bar those out, or use a cleaner wax...

Got the same problem on my '05. Dealer fixed it under warranty...but 3 months later it was back. They said all DC would let them do is bondo and paint. The only way to cure the problem is new box sides which DC won't allow under warranty.

NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.      |

Gotta love the salt they throw on the roads at winter. When I lived in NY I don't think I had a car last more than 5 years before it started to rust.

bondo and paint? That will not fix anything. That just makes it look OK for a few months. I'm disgusted that that is Dodge's solution. Good thing I live in Texas. I'd be pissed.
