I got an estimate from my local shop to paint my new tailgate and roll pan and put stipes on hood and down tailgate/pan of 1,350.00. I thought this was a bit much, especialy in this economy. Anhyone have any idea what I should be paying for this kind of work. It broke down to 850 for labor and 450 for paint 100 for tax.

I just found a guy that paints out of his house, has a real nice set up and is willing to paint gate and pan for 250 including paint. I may skip the stripes and go with a street ecene bumper cover.

I got an add today from Stylin Trucks. They have an EFX steel roll pan on sale for $145 vs $219 but their sale ends at midnight...chicken $%^*@#.

just try to get him to put extra coats of clear on the back , that way -if it gets scratched some, you can wet sand and polish it back to new.
