I bought a spray can of Duplicolor Engine paint. Will that work for my calipers? I was going to clean the rotors, sand them down, and clean them again to get rid of any debris. Can I just wrap everything but the calipers in newspaper to avoid overspray on my rotor? Any other tips, suggestions, or comments are welcome...

I have sprayed, and brush painted them Zack. Either way will work just fine. If you paint the drum too don't get in a hurry, and be sure they are good and dry before you put your wheels back on. If not they will stick to the rim and make changing a tire a real PITA. Don't ask, just trust me on this. thumb2

My other hobby makes my arm tired! Eeker

Zack...drying time depends on the paint, temperature and humidity!
Usually a couple of hours on jack stands will be fine.

Dry to the touch in several minutes. Put on a few coats. The wind made it kinda crappy. And I started getting tired. I'll make a photo album.

It was time to rotate the tires anyway, so I painted the calipers too.

just a fyi, but i painted my calipers using rustoleum sunrise red from home depot. its the same shade red found in the duplicolor kits for alot cheaper. this stuff works great just clean the caliper with brake cleaner and rub a wire brush over it. paint about 2 or 3 coats and it will look great, and dirt wipes right off. home depot mods rock!
