Hi everyone,
 I saw some eyelids on sale and noticed that they come already primed and ready for painting. What do you guys prefer, going to an auto body place and having them paint them, or doing it yourself and save some cash. About how much do you think a place would charge for them to get painted? Thanks for the help!      |

If you can get paint to match your exterior, you should be able to paint it yourself without any issues. Finsih it off with plenty of clearcoat.
Current mods: Exterior: 2003 RC short bed Ram. Chrome 20" Motto wheels, 275/55/20 Bridgestone Duelers, tint, functional SRT-10 Hood, Street Scene bumper cover, de-chromed and painted rear bumper, body matched grill shell, mirrors, door handles, tailgate handle and antenna mount, billet grill and bumper inserts, Bushwhacker street fender flares, polished "Ram" 3rd brake light cover. Engine: Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust, 3rd Strike dual filter with throttle body spacer. Audio: Alpine 9885 with IPod, Infiniti 3.5", 5.25" and 6x9's, two Kenwood DVC 12" subs with three Kenwood amps running it all through Monster Cable wiring. Optima red-top. Interior: Sueded headliner, color matched A&B pillars, overhead console, and rear light surround. Proudly serving our country with the Marine Corps for 12 years.     |

Mine were free with the mirrors and handles from Hurst Collision in TX.
