I was wondering that this morning. I don't know how hot the coils get or if a special heat resistant paint is needed.
Sure would like some chrome valve covers too. Frowner

i just cleaned mine up good ,them sanded with 1000 grit, then steel wool, then cleaned again, and used engine paint to paint them . they have held up good and no problems.

Haven't seen anyone around here with painted coil packs yet. Got my powder-coated valve covers from Moe's , been on about 8 months, get a lot of compliments. Moe's also sells chrome ones, about $400.
