I so want these! thumb2 thumb2 BUT i am afraid of if they are actually good at broadcasting light on a dark road. Could you possibly take a picture from within the truck, looking out at them (sitting in the drivers seat), preferably with no other sources of light in the foreground. Cool

They do a good job of that, I think. It's supposed to rain tonight, but I'll see if I can slip out and snap some shots. There is a place nearby that's perfect for that.

Are they just a direct replacement unit or is there wiring mods to do?

I would also like to know how well they broadcast their beams for night driving in comparison to Silverstars.

I had them in my truck for almost 2 years and while they look cool as sh$#. I am sorry to say they do not project light very well. Frowner
I have been to lazy to change mine out though to a stocker that is painted black inside, so I can buy an HID kit for them.
HID's won't work in them either..

What do you mean by "HID's won't work in them either" ? That you cannot fit them in or that they don't project light very well even with HID's in it ?

'cause i found those here on ebay.
Black headlights with HID

I had HID's in my projectors on my 02 and they were awesome. No problems at all!

So where do you get replacement consumables for your lights?

your projectors are different Raider Jay.
mine clearly have a label affixed to them that state - do not use HID's in them. and I believe, but I could be wrong, the actual projector bulb is too long for mine which is the same one as RamPage is looking at. I also cannot get enough adjustment aiming these lights also. I cannot imagine putting Halo's in there and not being able to adjust these down far enough.

My lights said dont use HIDs too. The HID bulb fit was real tight but it worked.
