Hey everyone, On my old 2004 Dodge Ram I had after market tail lights well with anything else from EBAY they were kinda cheap made. They worked good but did retain water, which was easily fixed by drilling a drain hole lol,
But anyways they other day leaving walmart one of them fell out! Apparently where the two screws connect broke off b/c Im guessing cheap plastic. My question is has anyone had any problem with the LED tail lights, and will they send an Lamp Out signal to the dash? I purchased an LED bar under the tailgate and within 6 months some of the LED's went out and also on my Led Third Brake light went out. So does anyone recommend a certain SMOKE style LED tail light? and has anyone had any problems with the Led's quit working? Thanks! TJ |

If you get some new ones try using a piece of vacuum hose as a spacer between the light housing and the truck. The way almost all of them that I've seen were made there is to much room between there. If you tighten the screw you break the tab. If I remember rigth the hose piece needs to be about 3/4" long.

Thanks man! I was just really worried about having so many LED's and if one or two of them went out it wouldn't look right!
