I just got some halo for an 04 and they use the stock lamp housing. Anyways my question is how do you wire it from the lamp to the truck? The instructions that came with them are not clear about this part

Two different ways. Easiest is to just tap into the parking lamp/s, one on each side.... But If you don't want to run them everytime you turn on the light, then you will need to put them on a toggle switch. I did the switch method. Some cops look at them funny. And there are times I do not need the added attention.

That is what i was thinking just taping into the parking lamps. Does any one have any pictures of what it would look like?

dunno I made a post to your question yesterday morning with a picture...it's gone.
I can't get a wiring picture for you without taking the lights out. Which lights did you get? They are an easy install. Like Phil said, just tap the parking lights is the best way.
