I have a 12" blue neon light that I would like to install on my amp wall to come on with my amp. What would be the way to do that? Should I just tap it into the remote (+), and ground (-)? Seems like that would get it to come on when I start the truck right?

I wired a lot of my interior lights to the dash light wires. When the truck lights are on so are they. If you want it on during the daylight either run with your running lights on or put on a separate circuit.

iagree why run a light you cant see in the daylight. Unless you only want it on when your amp is on

DO you have a pic of our amp wall? I have been thinking of doing a neon I have under my seat like that but only where the glow is visible.

That is why afteamroper. It is a neon. Don't "need" the light, just want the "glow" for show really. Probably run it down by the floor so it comes out under the seat. Here is a pic Hemiguy05....

Yeah, if you can put it at the bottom that would look good. I have one I have used on about 4 cars so far that I may use again. I bought some reflective silver tape one time and some thjin wall PVC and made like a lamp shade to aim all the glow one direction and it worked out nice.

Gotcha then runing it with your remote wire would work i would think. I dont imagine a neon would draw that many amps as far as the fuse of that power source is concerned

thumb2 Sweet. I will have to try it out then. Bummer is I have to take out my back seat again to get the shroud off my amp....lol. Oh, well, just another "good" problem to it being harder to steal.
