Has anyone used either of these headlights?

What is the difference in the two types?

Are the HID worth the extra cost?

Would either of these require the installation of relays or capacitors?

How hard are they to install?
Somewhere I saw that installation is on a difficulty level of 4 to 5 with one being simple and five requiring professional installation?

I love my HIDs. I dont have the halos but they do look sweet. There is a vendor on Dodgetalk.com that sells the plug and play applications for our trucks. He gives a life time guarantee on his hids and is a great guy. I fully recommend anyone trying to get hids to go through this guy. He is very professional and reliable. And again his hid applications are plug and play, he sends everything you will need to do it yourself. thumb2

First link:
Did you watch the installation video on the first one? There is one thing you need to know Nathan....very few if any of these lights are adjustable. Most are pointed down more than they should be IMHO.
The connectors they used in the video are also bad about coming open. If you use something like that be sure to put several wraps of electrical tape around them.
This statement bothered me:
quote:
Installation instructions are not included, professional installation is recommended for best results and warranty.

The pictures they don't show any LED's like they mentioned in the video.
The second link looks a lot more involved. Sorry I don't have time right now to check it out. Maybe someone will be along in a while.
goodluck
