I'm looking at getting these for my truck. Anyone who has them is the lighting better from them? Or is the stock headlight better. Somebody told me the light they put out is terrible.
I have bad night vision so I'm looking to upgrade the factory lights.

All the one's I know say the same thing. You might want to try the HID lights replacing the bulbs instead.

HIDS in the projectors are they way to go. They look factory and dont blind oncoming traffic. I had them on my 02. Went from stock bulbs to silverstars to Piaa's and then HIDs. The output got better each time. One thing that sucks about the projectors is adjusting them.

I would just go with the HID upgrade with your stock headlight housing.

I have an 07 with the Angel Eye Projectors. First I just replaced my factory bulbs with the blue ones but when these came out awhile back I picked them up. My wife swears that the bulbs I had before were brighter(and alot cheaper) but I like these better, plus I haven't adjusted them yet.

there are some headlights on ebay that im wanting to get called ccfl projectors. ccfl stands for cold cathode flourescent lighting i think and they "supposedly" put out more light than normal projectors. i would just like to get hid bulbs instead of doing the whole ballast setup which is expensive but i think i'll just get some really bright bulbs somewhere and see how they do

What's a Mod??

I also want to get ride of the stock housing for something that is blacked out.
I'm not that familure with HIDS. Don't you loose the high beams when you install them?
I was thinking of just getting the stock style housing that is blacked out with the clear corners. Then installing the HIDS.

Cipher117 any bulb that says its HID and doesnt have a ballast is just a bulb pretending to be bright. The CCFL puts out more light so the halo light is brighter but that doesnt do anything for seeing at night with the headlight bulbs.

If you get a Bi Zenon HID set you will have the HID low beam and a halogen high beam so you can pass NY inspections. Thats what I bought and am waiting to get installed.
