I have an '04 hemi, which would be better a supercharger or a turbo?

Welcome to the HTC, Dunc. The turbos put down better numbers, but there are other considerations you have to make before choosing one over the other. I'll let some of the F/I guys chime in with some details on this one.

Yes, yes you would. Power like that ain't cheap.

Turbos are good but theres nothing like that Supercharger wine to get people out of your way.

One difference is turbochargers have to spool up before they make full boost. A belt driven supercharger gets to full boost much quicker.

thanks for welcoming me everyone. And some people say superchargers are better and some say turbos are better. i heard turbos run much hotter then superchargers but i also heard that turbos are significantly cheaper.

also freeze would that 5-6k include the supercharger or turbocharger? or would i have to buy whichever i choose then fork out an extra 6 k?
