Finally made it back home after a 4800km (3000 mi) round trip from Calgary to Hugo. I could still hear the turbo whistling in my head when I woke up this morning. LOL. I'll be heading out today with a friend to see how far my little #39 injectors can safely take me. Of course the camera will be coming along so videos will be up shortly.
The engine is based off a cryo-treated 6.1 block with stage III transmission and valve body, CNC'd 5.7 heads. I don't have the full engine specs with me right now so hopefully Denny or Jerry can chime in. I think I'll have to rotate my tires after the truck fully learns the new transmission. Wow! I was thinking the same thing.
Customs was a snap. I had Denny mail my receipts to me just in case. They asked the usual about booze and smokes and how long I was down there. I said I was visiting, they didn't even ask where or why, nor did they check under my locked tonneou cover. Maybe I should have loaded up shopping while I had the chance! No tube tops from either one!
 Well now its my turn to plan a trip to Sharadon! I'll have to get a price from Denny on a 383 or a 426 that way I know how much padding I'll need on after my wife beats me!  But I think Darrick is right if the 426 seems feasible then thats where its at! |
