hey guys, well looks like i might be needing an aftermarket or better oil pump than the STS one, i had alot of oil in the intake, turbine and compressor housing, checked my check valve, the hobbs switch everything is fucntioning like it should but the pump isnt doin anything, you guys have any recommendations for a better pump??

RB Racing. Uses helical cut gears that are quiet, don't bother looking anywhere else.

Hope you get that fixed. I had mine rebuilt by a local guy for twenty bucks. I haven't had a problem with it yet. Hows the truck running? 2004 Dodge Ram Hemi Sport (flame red),Custom 24x12x4 front mount intercooler, sts turbo, sts electronic boost controller, custom billet fuel rails, 255lph holley fuel pump, XRP racing fuel fittings and hoses, split second map clamp, 39# cobra/bosch injectors, MSD spark plug wires, NGK 4306 spark plugs, autometer boost gauge, autometer EGT gauge, Aeroforce scan gauge, PLX device DM-100 Air/Fuel wideband, ATF Speed custom 5-45 RFE Transmission with ATF Speed Valve Body, PML transmission pan, ATF Billet triple disc lock-up converter, Eibach 2/4 drop, Eibach pro damper shocks, Mopar 26 row tranny cooler, 180 degree MotoRad thermostat.............. Does anybody know how to install this stuff?!?!  Yes ATF Speed does!!That Hemi got a turbo?!?! 400hp/445 lbs. tq at 7 lbs of boost. |

Actually, so do the new STS pumps. The old ones were rated for 2.1 GPM, new ones are quiet and will do 3.5 GPM. I just ordered a replacement for mine for dealer cost since I am an existing customer. 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Turbo Alcohol Injected 392 Hemi |

how much is dealer cost? Wouldn't mind getting another new one.

well the pump isnt bad, i guess the first few kits had a hob switch and a resistor, one of the two went bad so i contacted STS they said run the pump on high is doesnt affect anything, just runs it on high the entire time, that hows they are supplying thier kits now, so it runs better now, i took the pump apart cleaned up the brushes and the gears and it runs alot quieter now, anyway i had alot of oil coated on my piping so i had to clean all 50ft of piping LOL!, anyway shes running good again, no codes or anything.
