ok....guys I need your help.....please.

My truck is basically complete except for the fact that it doesn't turn on.

When I turn the ignition on(the key all the way) it doesn't do anything.

The only way to turn the motor over but still not start is pulling out solenoid 62 and putting a wire straight from one side of where the solenoid was to the other side of where the solenoid was. Basically like skipping the solenoid and straight wiring it. But like I said even like this the truck will not start.

I already reset the pcm like you guys said....pulling fuse 23 and what not. So I don't think that is the problem.

Another 2 weird things going on is that I can not disconnect the superchips...it either lets me and stops half way through the process or says that I don't have the key in the ignition.

The other weird thing is that I can't connect my laptop to the smt-6. It says no comm's. I tried different ports for the usb on my laptop and still nothing. Hash mentioned to get the driver for the cable connection between the usb and the smt-6 and I did do that. The laptop now reads the usb when it plugs in but still has no communication with the smt-6.
I made sure like a million times that the smt-6 is wired correctly or at least to hemifever's diagram.

PLEASE HELP ME GUYS...I AM SO TIRED OF MESSING WITH ALL THIS WITH NO RESULTS.

And no...I don't have money to take it to a performance shop just yet. So suggest any ideas that you think could be the problem.

P.S. sorry for the long post....its been a long day.

Wasn't it running before you had the fuel spray outburst under the hood? Have you tried flooring it while cranking? Are the plugs gas fouled?

I wouldn't recommending using Superchips with this setup unless its on the 87 octane program.

The motor did start one time when it was spraying fuel out. But it never started after that. The motor did turn over though.

I tried flooring it last night during start up with no luck.

And about the superchips, right now it is under the 91 octane tune....but like I said in my previous post: "I can not disconnect the superchips...it either lets me and stops half way through the process (ignition on/off/on) or says that I don't have the key in the ignition." It even told me I had a mismatched vin and a communications error.

I have not pulled the plugs yet to check them.

Try the Superchips again and tell me exactly what it tells you and yes I can speak from experience of a locked up PCM due to Superchips

OK...the superchips lets me communicate when I take out relay number 57. When I do this and go to change setup....the superchips tells me...turn ignition on....i do that...then turn ignition off.....i do that....and then turn ignition on/do not start engine.....it gets stuck at that point and doesn't do anything else.

When I read dtc they show me 5:
P0443
P0406
P0113
P0073
P0118

When I clear dtc it only clears up P0118.

I can only read the dtc if relay 57 is not in place. When relay 57 is in there it does nothing but rattle....literally. Once I pull relay 57...the engine begins to turn over but doesn't start...even if I give it gas.

It turns over when I take relay 57 out but does not start.

If I put the relay in in rattles and doesn't turn over.

As far as your laptop goes, either use an older laptop with a built in 9 pin serial port or use a expansion card with a serial port. The USB versions are very unreliable at best. I've tried 3 diferent brands of USB serial emulators for work without luck.

Are all your fuses and relays good, could you have fried something during the installation of your parts?? If I were you I would get a meter and start checking them out . A lot of wires in your comm port connect through the fuse panel before going to the PCM.

I don't have a meter but I have pulled out a lot of fuses and they are all good. I have swapped relays with the same results.

Do you guys think that the spraying of fuel might have caused some electrical problem?

Just because a fuse looks good sometimes can mean nothing. I've seen them look good and still fried. I have a expensive fluke brand meter but even a cheap meter for 15-20$ can tell you for sure if your fuses and relays are solid. There is one big fuse that went out on me last year and my truck wouldn't start. I forget the exact one but it had to do with power to the comm port it has a small black cartridge around it. If you did fry somthing when fuel was spraying the first place it would show up would be in the fuse panel area.. get a meter and properly check all fuses and relays..you must eliminate one thing at a time..Dont go looking for somthing big when it could be something simple and a lot less costly. Not having a meter is just guessing.
Thats why professional technicians own them.I install and troubleshoot HVAC control system problems. I don't guess when im checking systems .and if all is good after that you may be looking at what CTH said a PCM
