Just wanted to get some help from people who have tried this before I am sticking 2 turbo's on my truck for a little extra pullin power not to run down the track I havent went out and bought the book maximum boost by corky bell so i'm not sure how to size it up yet on what MM to run and what all do you have to do electronically after setting up the turbo's and is it going to be necessary to change injectors?
im just trying to guess how much this might cost me

I am looking to add around 75 to 125 hp

well first off have you looked at STS (squire turbo system) they make a kit for our trucks and it comes with everything you need. and there is really no reason to run twin turbo's if thats all the power you are wanting one will be plenty. the kit starts out at like $4000 i believe i would say go look at their web site sts turbo and check out the kit for our trucks

Just as nightmare said, your best guess for an easy to install system is an STS Kit. Though for 75-125hp I am not sure forced induction is the way to go at all, let alone twin turbo. Also, I hope when you say 'extra pullin power' you're talking about just accelerating faster because forced induction on a gas is really no way to add safe towing power.

For a turbo setup would be looking at:
- a turbo kit such as STS makes
- for tuning you would need either
- a programmer such as SCT or Diablo with a 2 bar MAP
- or a piggyback like the iems3 or SMT6 (iems3 is definitely the better option though it costs more)
- you would also likely need bigger injectors

For the hp gains you are looking for you maybe better off to go for a cai, programmer, cam, headers/full exhaust; especially if you are looking to tow (and possibly gears).

what kind of preparations do you need to do to the internals to deal with the added pressure?

Forged piston, crankshaft, and connecting rods. Usually drop the compression ratio at the same time.

well yes that would be the thing to do but you dont have to do that. the sts turbo kit it works with the stock motor just fine. I believe the kit only runs 6lbs or so... but if you did plan on running more boost than yes you would need a built motor

Technically, yes. But when a sh*t load more power is available by simply turning a knob, blowing up the engine is inevitable. I don't know anyone with that much will power. I held on for about a year before the itch got me.

that is very true it is tempting if its just as easy as turning a knob I know like right now i have nitrous on my truck and its killing me cause i want to put a bigger shot in it but dont want to blow the motor

As stated above, if 75-125 hp is your goal then a motor-based build would be more practical and cheaper. CNC heads, man cam, gears, e-fan, LT's, tune etc. will likely get you where you want to be. Boost is way too tempting for a stock motor.
