Keep in mind you have a 2x4 so it should be lower than mine. My truck isnt exactly level. I think it still has a 1/2" rake to it. With the spring clamps the ride is firmer as well, but I like it.

OK, put the Slammed1 shackles on...easy day. It did get me down (noticably) but I still need the spring clamps (at least one set). My local auto store didn't know what I was talking about. Does anyone have a pic of these or know where I can order them online?

Thanks Fellas.

chris... did you put anything between the metal plates? how long of plates did you use? I was thinking of ways I could lower the full 2" and that seems to be the way to go.

i just measured the width of the springs and bought a few plates with holes that were spaced that far apart. if you want, you could put the clamps before and after the axle to drop even more. your ride would get a lot stiffer though.
