So about two weeks ago I put on some DJM drop shackles that worked really well, but they squeak and I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

You might need to put a little oil on them or make sure that you did not over tighten them!

Spray the leaf springs with WD-40... if it still squeaks then you might have the shackles installed upside down.

I had this problem as well. The first fix was using some good lube on the bushings which helped but what was causing alot of my squeak was the metal tabs coming down off of the nuts for the top bolt rubbing against metal, I just had to bend it back a little and it all stopped.

Hope this helps.

my Slammed1 drop shackles squeaked like mad.

I fixed 'em though. I shipped it to a guy in NY and I lifted the front of my truck!

The torque specs on the urethane bushing is not as high as the factory. Call them they will let you know. They should have it with the kit but they have nothing in them. My squeaked until i adjusted the torque setting.

I recently had to spray down my stock spring bushings and leafs with some Amsoil HDMP. Took the squeaks/ticks away. Must have all been the spring. Weird thing was though it was even squeaking from a stop and was consistent with the rotation of the tire. Threw me off, but I just started with the spring and it solved it.
