Well finally came time to get the old tires that came with my rims replaced (295/45/20).
Replaced them with 275/55/20. Now the front tires rub the plastic inner fender liner when i go through a dip. I need new shocks on all four corners, any recomendations? I have the McGaughy's 2/4 pro drop kit installed. you have a 2/4 drop and you are rubbing?? i have a 2/4 with 255/50s and its just fine for me, i even ran 275/55s for a while with no problems. Your truck looks alot lower in your pic. you shure its not the bump stops you are hitting, i think the 2/4s could use a notch.

not the bump stops, cause i looked up in the fender well, you can see where the tires are hitting the plastic liner.

My tires rub on the top too when I hit a big dip. I've got new belltech shocks and stock 20's.

ON my 05 with a 2/4 and 305/40/22's on it, hit the bump stops but never rubbed the fender well!

mine will rub with 275/55/20s with a 2/4 drop... but it's gotta be a BIG dip.

here is a good tire size calculator that gives you a visual of how the two tires are different. Ive usd it hundreds of times picking just the right size I needed.
