So I got some good feedback about takin out my leaf. One post suggested doin a axle flip kit. Ive been looking them up and found some from bilstein but it was for 5"s way to much and then DJM which yall say is known for squeakin so id be back to square one, just with the drop I want. Anyways can yall recommend a flip kit thatll make me level? Or that is adjustable? Thanks for yalls time. Looks like ill be craiglistin my shackles.

McGaughy's flip kit is adjustable. 4"-5" Has two different mounting holes on the new "supplied" shackles. the use of just a flip kit, and your factory shackle will result in a 6" drop. The use of a "lowering" shackle (like the belltech lowering shackles, or McGaughy's lowering shackles) will set you down to around 7" lower!
Hope this helps some...
Belltech 1.5 "lowering" shackle on the left, Mcgaughy's "flip kit" shackle on the right.

You can do the flip kit then buy a pair of air shocks for 70 bucks and you can go up and down. If you leave the stock shackles you are gonna wanna do a c-notch or at least get the air shocks. That is how i did mine.

Thanks for the good info. I dont really want to go 4" afraid the rear will sit lower and thats not the look im goin for. Im die hard on not touching the front I love the way it looks. Well is my only option to get a lowering kit for the rear I think all I may need is about 2-2 1/2"s? I dunno im totally lost on this, I just know I hate the way it sounds right now and I still want to go lower without losing a leaf. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks yall.

I bought a set of slammed1 lowering shackles, I think the drop was about 2-1/2", and I think my truck looks pretty level. I will try to post some new pictures of it since the drop. Hope this helps.
