Hey yall, I really want to level out my truck. Ive seen all the talk about shackles and talking out my over load spring. I really want to keep the over load just in case. I like the way it sits in the front but I would only want to lower it maybe an 1" in the front and then set it level to that in the back. I want it right I dont have much money flow but if im gunna do something on my truck id rather it be right. Do yall kno of any kind of set up that would work for me? And also around about what it would cost for parts? Ill do the drop myself so im not worried about labor. Oh and by the way theres a black hemi 4 door with a red strip down the bed in college station with exactly the drop im going for so by a far far chance maybe a member but I dont think he is. I can never catch that guy when I see it driven around :/. Anyways id would like any ideas or sugestions yall got thanks for yalls time!

HEMIHP-I am not an expert, but, the cheapest way to do what you want(level out the back to match a 1" drop in front)is to put on shackles and remove the overload springs. You could remove the spring above the overload instead to get the drop that you need(in this case,at least 3")with a shackle. other than that, you can buy dropped leaf springs from Hotchkis or Belltech, but they run around $300-$400 for a pair. You could always e-mail or pm a vendor that posts here.He goes by the name of slammed1.He is pretty much the suspension guru around here.Hope some of this helps.
