Im planning to lower my truck soon. I see belltech makes a 4" lowering leaf. But i havent seen anyone on here running them. Everyone has flipkits instead. Is there a particular reason why? I would think leafs would be easier to install. Ive never done a flipkit tho.

labor wise, you are almost doing the same amount of work. your truck will handle a little better with the belltechs, but, with some diminished carrying capacity. with a flip kit,you are just as low, also with less carrying capacity. price wise-I believe the leafs are more. it all comes down to-better handling(leafs) or just being lower(flipkit).

payload suffers just as much with drop leafs as it does with a flip kit, i just put a flip kit and drop coils from mcgaughy's last week and i was having problems with wheel hop before that and has now significantly diminished, i have very tight handling with the flip kit and coils the only con is being that low in the rear with no Cnotch you must be very careful when going over dips and bumps and also belltech sucks to begin with get mcgaughy's 2/4 economy kit and i can tell you step by step how to do it, i found a sweet deal on ebay for mine payed 300 shipped.

Yea ive already got wheelhop issues. I know that by design a spring under should have less wheelhop. How do you like the ride of the coils? I was gonna get deluxe kit with spindles because i didnt know if i could get the coils for an 06 4x4 with struts. And i was told that lowered with spindles rode better.
