Hey guys, I installed a 2/4" GF kit on my 04 4x4, it looks 100% better, but its been bugging me for a while, its not QUITE level, the back seems to be a bit higher, maybe an inch. Is there a safe way to drop it 1 more inch? Or am I just losing it?! What do you guys think?
-eric

EDIT: its hard to tell from my sig pics, cause i got down real low to take them. When your standing beside it, its more noticable

Dang man, looks prety level to me, mabey a half inch diffrence???

how did the lowering kit lower the back end? might be a matter of making new shackles or adding a shim to push the axle up further. some pics of the rear axle and springs would help a ton!

ps. nice ride!

looks awesome seeing a 4x4 with that stance, did you take out the overload spring from the rear if you have one??

A lot of flip kits have 2 slots on there drop shackles, one is for a 4 inch drop, the other for 4.5 inches. If yours does not have 2 slots, and you want to lower it further, you could remove the leaf that is above the overload, that is usually good for an extra one half to 3/4 of an inch. But,beware-you may have some bottoming out issues if you go past the 4 inch drop height.....

If I may ask, where did you get the 2/4 and how much did it run you? I'm looking to lower my 08 4x4 and seeing yours just makes me want to do it even more.
