We have a 2005 2500, I would like it to be uniform. Which is the the best way to handle this?
1) Raise the front 2"
2) Lower the back 2"

Well I have a 04 1500. I used a 2" coil lift along with new shocks and front end alignment. I was told stock shocks did not have enough play for the exra 2" of lift. 100 for the coils, 120 for the shocks, 100 labor and 75 for alignment.

It's a 2wd. I noticed 3 shims over the back axle maybe 1 1/2" total, can I remove these without causing any damage or needing a shim to adjust for the angle?

Id personally just do a front coil spacer if you haul any weight in your truck, when you drop the rear end it has less weight carrying capacity hence the axle is closer to the bump stops, Just my personal opinion!!!

Pro Comps are pretty good, Rancho makes a good shock, Didnt realize you were that close to me, Go to 4 wheel parts off 1960 and talk to Aaron tell him Kevin with offended offroad sent you, he will take care of you! Alignment gets a little off, I have been taking mine to firestone for alignment here off 1960 and aldine westfield!
