I am trying to decide between lowering 2/4 or the 4/6. I know with the 4/6 I will need to install a C-notch and that is no problem, but ....can I use my factory rims and tires with it. I have a 2004 QC 1500 2WD w/hemi and 20's.I am lowering it for the performance aspect of handling. I eventualy plan on going with SRT10 rims but that won't be for quite a while. Any help is appreciated.

I would imagine stock height tires will not work with a 4/6, but I am sure someone will be along in due time to verify that.

I don't have a 4/6 or 20's,but,the word is that a 275/45/20 works great with the 4/6 without any rubbing issues. On the subject of the srt10-22's,normally, a 2/4 would work better.

I am just concerned with rubbing issues on the 4/6. I am really just looking for the performance of lowering it. I plan on, ulitmatly running headers and true duals on many other performance mods. I am starting to lean toward the 2/4 just for the overall picture. Not sure yet though. I do plan on making upgrades with front and rear sway bars also.

2/4will give you what you are looking for. Check out the Hotchkis TVS setup.

I was planning on starting with the DIM 2/4 kit with coils instead of spindles and then later on going with the sway bars. I don't plan on using shock extensions though. I am going to use some nitrogen charged shocks that are shorter than stock application.

for shocks-I would say go for Belltech Nitro's or Belltech Nitro 2's.They are one of the better priced drop shocks out there.
