Is the rust on the scoop or the hood? Got any pics?

Make the dealer fix it under warranty. That should definitely be covered. Unless you have an ungodly amount of miles.

RUMBLEthisB, where was your truck made? It may be a problem with that particular factory. I haven't heard of this being a significant problem on the Bees, but it could be, and a fiberglass replacement may be a good alternative. I would still have the dealer replace it though, and keep that as a spare....if you need help with finding a scoop, let me know.

So what have we learned in 2 millennia?

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."
- Cicero - 55 B.C.

Apparently, nothing......

"How far you go in life depends on you being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and the strong.
Because someday in life you will have been all of these."

dodge paint jobs on average leave more to be desired. tons of members including myself have had problems out of the factory paint whether it be rust or whatever. they really should work on that cause it sucks imo.

I dont think it would matter where the truck was made...ALL Daytonas/Rumble Bees/Hemisports were built in St Louis Assembly.
