Well gents,
After 2 months we have a decent address. We are able to pick up mail once a week at the nearest FOB.
Mopar mags are in high demand since the PX seems stuck on mustangs and ricers.

Thanks for the support all.
I'm still getting used to the idea of being here a full year (Marine MiTTs do a year vice 6 month tours) and training the Iraqi Army can be alot like herding cats at times. We do however get a chance to work with the locals improving thier infrastructure, schools and medical care which I find the most rewarding. Kids are kids no matter what part of the world you're in.
I will be getting a 2 week break this summer to come home, get drunk, fish and drive the Hemi.
RoberX, I will probably be at Bragg this summer to visit my brother-in-law with the 82nd. My little sister will already be back in the "Ghan" by then.
Hot items for me and my boys:
Books/Magazines
Candy (for the Iraqi kids)
SOFT toilet paper (many of you remeber G.I. paper, OUCH!)
2009 calenders (MOPAR vehicles or beautiful women)
Baby wipes (good for the body and cleaning weapons)
Hand and foot warmers
any other items you see fit to send will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to modern satellite communication I'll be able to keep in touch with ya'll more often.

Chris

Roberx,
Sounds great! I have Triton TC 17 that I drop on base to go hunting for Reds. My tour should end in time for me to catch the last of shrimp season before the specks start running.

Hey Rob,
Sorry about the delayed response, we are having some VSAT issues up here.
It's breaking the freezing mark, but a warm front moved in and dumped rain for Christmas(I was hoping it would snow)
Our Iraqi brothers are busy prepping for thier elections so we have our hands full right now. If all goes well we may move south in the spring. The guys I work with have been doing CONOPS for over a year are are in need of a break to train and re-fit. They are good fighters though, dedicated and fearless.
Let me know how things are down your way.

Chris

Man it's pretty quite down south. Nothing happening around here which is a good thing. 8 months to go.. Should be getting internet in our chu here pretty soon so that could be good and bad all at the same time.

The addiction has got to me and I can't stop......
05 1500, BullyDog triple dog gas programmer, Taylor 8.2 wires, Champion Iridium plugs, AFE Dry Filter Stage II CAI, Pacesetter LT's, Flowmaster D50 Cat Back (custom dual side swept), Eliminated 1 Cat, Cat cut open to 3", AMSOIL.

Soon to be added: Inertia Motorsports Heads, Crazy Spartan cam, 180 t-stat, Black Magic E-fan, Traction Bars (undecided). Some kind of Wideband O2 Sensor and switching over to a Diablo... It's gonna be a fun weekend...
