Does it really work? Is there a noticeable difference if it does work?

'04 Ram Black RC/SB 4X4. I love this truck!!! I got it Sept. 5, 2007. I wanted one for the past three years and I got it (thanks to my girlfriend). I plan on getting performance parts that include the ramhammer intake, aero-turbine exhaust, programmer, and 4.56 gears just to name a few things.

Anything that allows more cooler air into the air intake along with a cold air inyake system will help with performance along with the power wire (trick computer to read air intake temp to be 20 degrees cooler) which cause more fuel to be injected, hence more HP but slightly worse mileage.

Just be aware it won't do anything in town. It needs highway speed to force enough air toward the intake.

I agree with MikeTally, I got one but didn't see that much of difference in town but on the highway it seemed to pick up quicker.

Thinking of getting a power wire with it but I didn't hear such positive reviews.

Power wire IMHO is only good to use if your going to race your truck. Causes more fuel to be injeted in engine thus killing your gas mileage.

I have the scoop funneling air almost directly on to the AFE long tube CAI and I'm getting 22 to 23 MPG on the HWY. I also took it a step farther and put a heat sheild between the filter and the radiator.
