I too installed one on mine yesterday. I noticed an immediate .5mpg improvement in the overhead. I'm still scratching my head as to how it can calculate an improved mpg with the truck sitting still in the driveway?? On the highway, I noticed a quicker acceleration and the mpgs keep going up. It was stuck at 15.4 (driving it easy and using cruise all the time) for weeks. Now it's at about 16.5. Also, when I open it up, a deep growl can be heard from up front, Very Nice! I listened carefully for the EGR ticking sound some have complained about and after some careful listening I think I was able to discern the clicking, but only when the truck is climbing a grade. Honestly, until I really started listening for it, I couldn't even hear it. So, it's completely acceptable. I'm very satisfied with this mod. Duanne has put together a nice kit for this product and it appears to deliver all that people have said. If I get a solid 1mpg improvement at the pump, then this upgrade pays for itself in 6months. Not bad! After that it's like getting a free performance upgrade!
