Man my CAI broke Frowner. I got the 3rd strike CAI and where it makes the 90 it mounts up on the fender. Well the stainless steel tab thats welded on the pipe broke at the weld. Glad I noticed, my filter was starting to rub. Looks like ill be busy this weekend.

first my bolt broke from the rubber and then the bracket piece broke and now I notice that the tubing is caving in around the edges where the filter goes on. I have my hose clamps just slightly snugged so nothing comes apart but I have to keep checking them.

A fix Ive used before was to get a piece of metal and bend two "L"'s on the ends and use the clamp at the filter to snug one end and then bolt th other end to a bolt on the fender. The rubber kind of acts as a shock absorber and I havent had any break since.

I wonder if you cut the intake near there and added a silicone hump hose (helps with vibration) if it would help to hold it up.
