Vararam looks cool but a lot of complaints about quality.Just my .02

As far as the Vararam goes. I love the design behind the system. I just wish the components were better quality. The rivets look / aplied like trash. I ended up drilling them out and put low profile allens in their place. Looks and holds much better. I replaced the supplied tubing with the new AEM (make itself kit) CAI. Only problem with that was I had the down grade the tubing to 4" rather than 5". And last was the filter itself, there are spots where you can actually see right through it. No protection, what I ended up with was making a template size foam filter that will be using Tic-oil for motorcycles to trap the dirt and dust. Overall the the Vararam system is great for the price and looks great under the hood.
Of course the RamHammer kits work wonders. The fastest hemi in Cali uses one and loves it to death. You can't go wrong with either one. Good luck. " What is that ringing noise I keep hearing, you would think I'd have a phone or something "         |

..if you want performance and your choosing between vararam and the airraid...it's the vararam hands down (quality issues aside)... a better comparison would be the vararam and bfi intake (new ramhammer)....
