Just put on my airaid cold air intake for my 08 ram. I put about 200 miles on it today and discovered my mileage went from 15.8 to 16.6. Not too bad of a jump for this simple of a bolt on.
Only complaints is the noise. K&N intakes dont have anything on airaid for noise. It's obnoxious over 4500 rpm. It makes the intake sound like you have a muffler under the hood. It sounds mean, but is very loud when you get on it. Can't stress that enough. No real noticable change in acceleration or throttle response. Although, with all the noise it sure sounds like you should be going faster. Just thought 1 or 2 of you may want some info on this system. 08 Hemi Ram QC 4x4 69 Cougar 408 Stroker |

my airaid also made plenty of noise. i noticed that after the headers it got much quieter. i guess the extra air in was able to get out.

I put an Airaid on my truck shortly after I bought it in '05. I have no complaints. Of course my exhaust has always been loud enough that I could never hear the intake doing its' thing to begin with.
