It uses 2.5 inch hose to take the air to the filter.

This shows the hose running to the intake filter

at the filter

More pics please. I'm interested in what you did. But isn't 2.5 inches a little small?

Ill take more. It isnt the only air coming in its just a little colder forced air to help a bit. The fit is better than in the picture This was during a test fit. I would like to find a way to measure the air temp coming in compared to the ambient air under the hood. I also have a 3 inch tube coming into the factory fender tube intlet. So, I have air from all over coming in there. I am also going with a bigger filter soon.

You can accomplish this with a programmer. Mine is usually aroun 10 degrees hotter but when I go wot the temp is the same.

the ambient air under the hood

You could measure that with a cheap battery operated wireless thermometer.

Im checking MPG now and once I run about 1/2 a tank ill know something. Ill post it then. I did run a few test to see if it had any air going through it at all and it seems to have a pretty decent flow. It was a very primative test I just ran the hose in to the window on the passenger side and at 35 to 45 it had a nice amount of air through it. My daughter was having a ball with it blowing her hair. whemi I didnt hit the highway but im sure it was better.
