Take a seat cushion and don't plan on leaving the parking lot for a couple hours afterwords.

I went to the All Star and the 600 last year. The 600 is a Lonnnnnnngggggggg day/night.

Get there early and park on the main drag somewhere. Don't park down the side street next the track accross from turn 2. You will have a farther walk to the track but if you want to get out of there in a reasonable amount of time, it will be worth it. Last years all Star I parked accross from turn 2. We left just as Harvick crossed the finish line. Took about 10 minutes to walk to the truck. I pulled out of my spot and got about 30 feet and there I sat for the next 3 hours. I was living in Sumter SC at the time and I didn't get home until 0530. Normally it takes about 1.5 hours to get to the track.

Kane, sure had a good week-end...loved it and would love to see him on top at the end. And loved the Indy 500, too...very exciting racing.
