both races where a wreck fest. glad matt and carl both came out o.k. it was fun to watch.

I must say though, I kept hoping Kenseth would've been crashed out after causing the first BIG ONE on LAP 8. "JACKASS" Changed the entire out look of that RACE.

Did anyone else happen to see when NEWMAN lifted off into the fence on the last lap. They kept saying glad the fence did its job and kept the debree out of the stands. I could clearly see some metal object fly into the 5th row hitting people. I hope They are OK!

There were only minor cuts with the exception of 1 broken jaw and 1 person that it scared the shit out of because he ended up having a "medical" condition and not hit with debris. They flew them by Helo to Birmingam, not because of the seriousness of the injuries but because traffic was leaving the track and they had a helo availabble.

I had to turn sirius off this morning. I could not believe all the idiots calling in blaming, NASCAR for the yellow line rule or the track and calling for changes to both. No one mentioned that if the 99 had not bounced off the 39, it would have never hit the fence. But then of course had the 99 not tried to block for a second time or at least be clear when he did it, it would be a non issue

And no one, no one at all, fan wise has said what a great car the COT has become. Holy crap, Newman should have died and he would have 25 years ago, not to mention Edwards being able to pull the Ricky Bobby. Amazing, simply amazing. And not just from a safety standpoint but look at all the cars that not only was able to race after the first wreck but race competitively. In the twisted sister all they would have been able to do is run laps with dents in the nose of the car. The 2 and a couple others were running up front. NASCAR never gets enough credit. All they get is criticism from those that don't bother to put thought in to a subject before the open thier yapper.

Ya, I agree with ya that NASCAR never gets enough prop's in these situations. I thought they handled all the race quite well. Cool Race Weekend for the most part.

Also speaking of the Blue Duece. The New points leader is a DODGE people. Thats Cool! I dont care for Kurt but what the Hell.

Oh BTW! Even though it wasnt the #5, #24, #48 or even the #88. If ya think about it Hendricks still Won. LoL

You are right. The K man drove a Chevy.. The times prior that I saw the car it was a Dodge and then this week it was a Dodge. That is just plain strange.. I have never seen that before.
