Thanks guys. Smiler

My wife was running around yesterday all day long in the truck. She absolutely loves it and I know she would tell me if it annoyed her. She did when I had the Magnaflow catback on my 04.

It has a nice mellow sound. No popping and more importantly, no drone. When you get on it, it sounds mean as all heck. When I was driving it back, after the install, I was surprised how mellow it was, yet a great sound. I loved my dumped Flowmaster 50HD on my 2004. I like the sound of this setup much better.

In my opinion, awesome sound and perfect for a daily driver. Here's a few revs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV7Yxhcoi1w

I attached a pic of the muffler installed. Clean and professional install. Craig is an artist. You can tell he loves what he does. Smiler

The good people at Acworth Muffler Shop, in Acworth, Georgia, did the work.

http://www.acworthmuffler.com/

If you're in Acworth or the surrounding area, it would be well worth it to check him out. He treats your ride like he owns it! Great local business!

Well, after three days of countless hours searching for exhaust sound clips and reading all these posts, I feel like this is the exhaust for me. The site says they are out of stock. Does anyone know where I can order one. Also when I take it into the exhaust shop, what should I say to have it installed. I dont mind loud exhaust, I had FM 40 series dual tips on my silverado and did not think they were very loud. You guys have me scared with the MDS on my 06 though. I dont want an aweful sounding truck when that thing kicks in. I'd also prefer not to have any tips sticking out of my truck. At least not yet. I have the night runner edition and dont want any chrome taking away from the blck chrome.
-Sorry this is long, I just cant figure out what to do here!
Thanks in advance

Zach,

You can get a brand new AT3030XL here for $95: http://ourdealsrock.net/aeroexhaustat3030-1.aspx Shipping will be around $10-$12 bucks, I suppose. You have to place it in the cart to see the discount. This company has an eBay store and their rating is good.

The XL has a resonator.

My setup consists of the AT3030XL, and I kept the stock rear resonator. The muffler was moved slightly back, so it's located under just under the bed. I have no drone and it's mellow during idle. It screams when you get on it. No popping. Just a smooth sounding rumble.

If you're not worried about loud, you can dump it. Warning though, they are loud. Wink

MDS can be annoying with an aftermarket exhaust. I have a Superchips and I disable MDS with it. Truck now sounds like my 04 did.

the picture shown is the standard 3030 but that could just be a bad picture. That price is insane. But if they fall through, I have a brand new one never installed I can sell you. Guess Sil forgot about that Smiler I can't go $95 bucks cheap but I think it's fairly priced. I have it listed on the for sale thread.

Thought you sold it.

The AT3030 is going for $76 bucks on that site. Think the picture is a mistake.

Zachary,

Without a resonator, the AT3030 is loud. Probably louder than the Super 40.

I've seen where people have said it's the loudest they've heard. With a resonator, it's seems to be just right.
