VP Elect NY Chapter Truck of the Month November 2008  |
I had the Flowmaster 70 Series muffler installed a year ago on my truck. I've noticed that ALL of the welds have significant rust build-up. I thought this muffler was stainless steel.??? I'm concerned that, over time, the muffler will separate at the weld points.
Has anyone else seen rust on their Flowmaster 70 series mufflers -- or other series mufflers? Mark, a.k.a. Yep, and replaced it with a Magnaflow.

well even the Magnaflow will rust if it's not polished and it's supposed to be stainless steel
