I'm looking to update my exhaust system as I've somehow managed to get a rattle in my stock muffler, sounds like a pebble or something dunno . Anyway, I'm using this as an excuse to chop off the cutout and everything and start over, and I really like the looks of the Super Truck system. I've always used Flows on my trucks before (old school Chevy small blocks) and loved how they sounded but I'm looking for something different in the Hemi. I know everyone has their own opinion on exhausts, but just looking for input from guys running this system, pros, cons, etc. and maybe some pics? Thanks!
On a side note, there may be a 3" electric cutout for sale pretty soon...

The Super Truck system is very nice and easy to install as well. The sound is very unique in a good way, and loud too! I've had it on my truck for 3 years now and my complaint is the tips that come with it. They produce a strange tinny sound as certain RPM's that can get rather annoying. But replacing them with resonated tips, or even tips with a rolled edge will eliminate that sound.

2008 Charger R/T: Muffler removed, Volant CAI, Diablo Predator, hood struts, custom decals, R/T Spoiler, stubby antenna, R/T grille, chin spoiler...what's next?

I am on my 3rd Gibsons (3-trucks) exhaust now and i can say they are great, fit straight away & good quality. What i like is they are 14-ga and most of the compitition is 16,18-ga. Nice low growl.

Like most 5.7 HEMI owners, i did not buy it for fuel ecomony. Does anyone out there know how to disable the MCD funtion?
Thx.

If you are referring MDS You can buy the new Diablo predator for the Hemi to do that and much more.. or put it in tow haul mode that also prevents your MDS from activating

You could unplug one of your rear O2 sensors and it will throw a code so your MDS won't engage.

Diablo disables MDS? That's pretty cool

I have a old Super truck I'm looking to get rid of.Shipping is the major cost cause it's heavy. M me if interested.
The trick with the tinny sound of the exhaust is to get resonated tips with dual walls. It really made the difference. The stainless tips that come with the system are awfull sounding and you do not get the square tips like they show in all the literature, you get round ones.
It does sound great!
