Are any of you guys running a magnaflow single in dual out muffler? I see most use a SI/SO setup. Just wondering how the DO guys like theirs.

I have a Mag SI SO and it was too quiet so I had it dumped and now I love it, not too much interior resonance and still sounds mean when on it. thumb2

yay! so happy someone posted this question and some replies came back! I just bought the Magnaflow SI/DO (part #13288) muffler last night (i'm having my local muffler shop doing the pipes for me), but not before some guy from Magnaflow direct tried to talk me out of it...stupid guy (no offense boys!). he's like "oh heck no, you wouldn't like the sound of that one, it'd be WAAAY too loud for someone like you".....umm, are you f**ing kidding me? do you think that cuz i'm a chick that i'm all prissy and need to cover my ears or something? who knows, maybe he's sexist and doesn't think a girl should be driving around in something like a Ram, or maybe he's jealous that i got a better ride than him! hahaha! i'll tell ya what, i NEED a loud sounding exhaust to make SURE all the others hear me coming up! and i'm not ranking on you all who have quiet exahusts, but for me, the deeper and grumblier (is that even a word?!) the better! ahh...thx for letting me vent, and for Mur Dogg, i'll let you know how mine sounds after this weekend when i get my pipes...

hey everyone - got the muffler on today and it sounds soooo sweet!! as soon as i figure out how to load video on then i'll post one - but it sounds amazing - i have to tell you when i was backing out of the driveway, i reved it a bit and didn't even realize that it was MY TRUCK making that gorgeous sound - i had to look back to see if someone was behind me!! LMAO!

it's not too loud where cops will be like, "ok, there goes Jaime again" but you will DEFINATLEY here me coming down the road! went to pick up my kids at my pareents house after and did a nice rumbly take-off for my dad (total gear head too) and he called me after & told me he was a bit jealous!! hahaha!

anyway, so yeah $60 for the Magnaflow muffler off of ebay, $250 for the welding and custom pipes from the muffler shop, so for just over $300 i have an insane sounding exhaust - not to bad for pricing out a full kit for $800 from Magnaflow directly!! now all i need 2 do is call that creep from Magnaflow and tell him to blow it out his @ss!!! hahahahahaha!
