I was looking under the truck and I see the muffler's in/out is off set. For the guys that put a straight pipe in place of the muffler. Was there enough play in the pipes to match them up to the straight pipe?

yup...u just need 38" of 3 inch pipe..flared on each end some exhaust clamps,bolt it up and way to go..make sure ur tailpipe aint to close to the bed of the truck....and it sounds good theres a couple vids on my cardomain page

Will 36" make it? I might pull the muffler of and measure it next weekend. Magnaflow has a 36" muffler I might give a try.

it might but u should deffiently measure first..i just used 38" and it worked for me...if ur gonna put a muffler there u mite wanna get rid of the little one on the end cause it tends to drown out the aftermarket muffler...my buddy had a smaller magnaflow on his in place of that giant muffler and u could barely notice it was there

Yeah the muffler fit great. I found the muffler on ebay and got clamps at the local auto part store. I have just over $100 into it and couldn't be happier. It has a nice throaty sound when you get on it. Plus when the mds is on it's barely loader than stock.
