ok guys new to me truck and i have to cut off the stock exhaust system. my question is what cat back system will sound good when i get on it but will not be to much when just going down the hwy with the mds system? how would a flowmaster muffler sound or should i keep the resionator in the pipe? i did look at that aero 3030xl but dam thats a costly muffler. thanks

I started with a magnaflow, it was nice when i got on it but too quiet for me the rest of the time (no front or rear resonators). Moved onto dual flowmaster 40's, much better. Now i have dual flowmaster 44's and they are loud all the time. I have heard the AT 3030 are pretty load as well. I ve never had an issue with the MDS making to much noise but i have it turned off now and dont see very much difference in the fuel milage. I think MDS made a little differance when the truck was stock but after i don't think it helped any, IMO.
