So I am looking at getting the aero 3030xl

So my question is can I come from Cat with pipe between to Aero and turn down pipe right after it?
I have not seen anyone that keeped the cat with the Aero

Mike,


You can do a turn down, keep your cats and run a 3030XL.

I'm running a 3030XL with cats, but my exhaust exits in the stock location.

how do you like the sound? is it loud

Mike9300, I kept my cat also, with 3030XL.....muffler shop cut a section off after Cat then place 3030XL then a short pipe to connect back to the rear resonator.

Love the way it sound, exactly what I wanted...pretty quiet when normal cruising but when I get on it.....everyone knows there is a Hemi close by .....

3030 is loud.
3030XL is not as loud unless you get on it.

how do you like the sound? is it loud

I kept the stock resonator and added a Magnaflow Y-Pipe. It sounds awesome and no drone. I think it's loud enough, but some might want louder.

I bought mine from a local shop but I can't remember at this time....I will look for the name and # for you later when I get home....I am not sure how much they are now but I think I paid $140 for mine.

So I placed my order last week for my 3030xl and was scheduled for delivery today


Now it says the 14th....2 more days

Got the Aero 3030xl yesterday...damm FedEx tracking was wrong

Had it installed this morning ....It sounds great, I had the original muffler removed and the aero installed and I keeped the rest in place

Will try to get sound clip to share

Thx to SilsHemi for the advice and I now have the same setup as you almost (no Magnaflow y)


I am loving it, no drone and not to loud!!!
