A sad outcome of all of this is I may have to drop medical coverage next year. I was "retired" at age 55 and as part of my benefits, a portion of my health care premiums are paid by my previous employer.

I just received my yearly enrollment packet and my monthly premium jumped 426% for next year - Yes FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX PERCENT - From $114/mo to $486/mo. for single coverage! (My wife has her medical coverage through her employer.) Now what the hell happened that the insurance company's costs have increased that much??? My pension didn't go up one dime and now I'm going to have a very hard time paying for this increase.

I don't know the exact quote but Jefferson said something about the blood of patriots being needed to refresh freedom. Unfortunately I believe that time is growing quite near.

Some type of domestic war is approaching. I don't know what shape it will take,whether it's people fighting over food or property,the American people fighting off the Chinese or Russians,or if it will be a fight between progressives and patriots. Something's going to happen.
