SUBJECT: AND YOU ARE STILL VOTING FOR OBAMA ?????

This is something you should be aware of so you don't get blind-sided.
This is really going to catch a lot of families off guard. It should
make you worry.

Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General election:

CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples) McCain does not
propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales

How does this affect you?
If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain
on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to
down-size yourhome or move into a retirement community, 28% of the
money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will
adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their
homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% (no change)

OBAMA39.6%

How will this affect you?
If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds,
college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that
pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the
money earned on taxes if Obama become president.

The experts predict that 'higher tax rates on dividends and capital
gains would crash the stock market yet do absolutely nothing to cut
the deficit.

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)

Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA
(reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)
Single making 30K - tax $8,400
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,25 0
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750

Under Obama your taxes will more than double!
How does this affect you? No explanation needed. This is pretty
straight forward.

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families have lost businesses,
farms and ranches, and homes that have been in their families
for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax.
Those willing their assets to loved ones will not only lose them to
these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

* New government taxes proposed on
homes that are more than 2400 square feet

* New gasoline taxes (as if
gas weren't high enough already)

* New taxes on natural resources
consumption (heating gas, water, electricity)

* New taxes on retirement accounts
and last but not least ....

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine
so we can receive the same
level of medical care as other
third-world countries!!!

It will also drive up the prices of houses. When you sell a house you have a certain number in mind that you want to make off the sale. Under the B-HO plan, sellers will compensate by raising the price.

Pretty good info... but you gotta look into the mind of a typical liberal - no matter how much taxes are raised (they obviously believe we SHOULD be paying higher taxes - it's just not fair that we're not paying higher taxes like Europeans are... Roll Eyes ), ANYONE other than a Republican, especially a 3rd term Bush (a.k.a McCain) is who they're gonna vote for.

Cold, hard, actual facts don't mean squat to a liberal - they never have. Instead they replace such intellect with pure, raw emotion, and as such truly believe that their opinions are the actual facts, not the actual facts themselves (ain't that right, SilsHemi?).

Liberals never tell you so much as to why you should vote FOR them, but instead base their entire mantra as to why you should vote AGAINST Republicans. Think about that. Wink

Rocket Hemi, exactly where did you find that information of proposed changes that Obama wishes to make. I would love to research that some more. I did not realize that Obama had his tax plan all ready and in place. Please share you information sources or resources. Thanks buddy.

Tom he said it on national T.V in his interview last night. Look it up on the CNN or Fox T.V clips, or just wait till Robert reads this and I'm sure he will post a link.

Inflation is at a 17 year high. We're paying more for everything. I suppose that doesn't count, because it's not a politician raising your taxes.

What good is cutting taxes, if you balloon the deficit with uncontrolled spending that has a negative impact on our economy.

So you're saying Americans are too stupid to know how to spend their own money and we should just give it all to the government since they do such a great job at spending it wisely? Or is it that you just want to penalize people for making money?

iagree Damn!!!! It's just not right for me to agree with Robert.
Obama says it's time for a change. That I agree with, but that's as far as it goes. The changes he wants I can't afford and neither can America.
If they like socialism so much move to Russia.

Robert,

You think because Bush has cut taxes, we still don't pay taxes? We do and plenty taxes.

If you cared how the government was spending our tax dollars these last 7 1/2 years, you would have protested the 4 trillion dollars tacked on to the deficit during that time. He cut taxes and spent the rest of the collected taxes like a drunken sailor. The national debt was 5.671 Trillion when Bush took office. It's now 9.6 trillion and growing fast.

Inflation, which is now at it's highest point in 17 years impacts spending. You give American's a few hundred dollars in tax relief and ask them to spend it on higher gas prices, food, clothing, etc. It's a Ponzi scheme. It's scare Americans into thinking Democrats will raise taxes and you will cut them.

Of course, they don't tell you they'll blow 4 trillion dollars of tax money they will collect.

You have to ask yourself; what has Obama accomplished to gain your trust? Does his admitting of using marijuana and cocaine set a positive example for our children? Does his association with William Ayers, Louis Farrakhan, Antoin Rezo, Frank Marshall Davis and Reverend Wright give you a warm feeling? Why is it necessary to prod him into wearing the flag pin or visiting our troops in the war zones?

Obama's experience = As a first time senator he has spent his entire time in office running for president. Great credentials and people that will vote for him must be retarded or just don't care.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, they'll come over here, and I don't want to have any guns in the house to shoot them with.

I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't

George W. Bush, A Man For the People:

Past work experience:

* Ran for congress and lost.
* Produced a Hollywood slasher B movie.
* Bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas, company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.
* Bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took private land using tax-payer money. Biggest move: Traded Sammy Sosa to the Chicago White Sox.
* With father's help (and his name) was elected Governor of Texas.
Accomplishments: Changed pollution laws for power and oil companies and made Texas the most polluted state in the Union. For two years in a row, Houston had the most days of high ground-level ozone [correction from viewer JP]. Cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas government to the tune of billions in borrowed money. Set record for most executions by any Governor in American history.
* Became president after losing the popular vote by over 500,000 votes, with the help of my fathers appointments to the Supreme Court and voter fraud committed by brother Jeb and Katherine Harris in Florida.

Accomplishments as president:

* Attacked and took over two countries.
* Spent the surplus and bankrupted the treasury.
* Shattered record for biggest annual deficit in history.
* Set economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period.
* Set all-time record for biggest drop in the history of the stock market.
* First president in decades to execute a federal prisoner.
* First president in US history to enter office with a criminal record.
* First year in office set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history.
* After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, presided over the worst security failure in US history.
* Set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips than any other president in US history.
* In my first two years in office over 2.7 million Americans lost their job. No Bush president has ever created one net new job yet.
* Cut unemployment benefits for more out of work Americans than any president in US history.
* Set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12 month period.
* Appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any president in US history.
* Set the record for the least amount of press conferences than any president since the advent of television.
* Signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than any president in US history.
* Presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed.
* Presided over the highest gasoline prices in US history and refused to use the national reserves as past presidents have.
* Cut healthcare benefits for war veterans.
* Set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind. (http://www.hyperreal.org/~dana/marches/)
* Dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history.
* Most secretive and un-accountable presidency of any in US history.
* Members of cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (the 'poorest' multi-millionaire, Condoleeza Rice has an Chevron oil tanker named after her).
* First president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously go bankrupt.
* Presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud of any market in any country in the history of the world.
* First president in US history to order a US attack and military occupation of a sovereign nation.
* Created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States.
* Set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any president in US history.
* First president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Human Rights Commission.
* First president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the elections monitoring board.
* Removed more checks and balances, and have the least amount of congressional oversight than any presidential administration in US history.
* Rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant.
* Withdrew from the World Court of Law. -- corrected by a viewer who commented that Bush withdrew our signature from the ICC, the International Criminal Court, which is a different body than the "World Court" or ICJ.
* Refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions.
* First president in US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 US elections).
* All-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations.
* My biggest life-time campaign contributor presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron Corporation).
* Spent more money on polls and focus groups than any president in US history.
* First president in US history to unilaterally attack a sovereign nation against the will of the United Nations and the world community.
* First president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and then lied saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1)
* First US president to establish a secret shadow government.
* Took the biggest world sympathy for the US after 911, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history).
* With a policy of 'dis-engagement' created the most hostile Israeli-Palestine relations in at least 30 years.
* First US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability. Many people consider me a bigger threat to world peace than Saddam.
* First US president in history to have the people of South Korea more threatened by the US than their immediate neighbor, North Korea.
* Changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
* Set all-time record for number of administration appointees who violated US law by not selling huge investments in corporations bidding for government contracts.
* Failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive'.
* Failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capitol building. After 18 months I have no leads and zero suspects.
* In the 18 months following the 911 attacks, successfully prevented any public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the United States.
* Removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.
* In a little over two years created the most divided country in decades, possibly the most divided the US has ever been since the civil war.
* Entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts".
