I'm voting Democrat because I like it when planes fly into buildings full of civilians. I want to see more of that.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with. I'm voting Democrat because I don't want a stimulus check to spend. Let the government spend it for me.

I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I'm going to marry my TV.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4-6% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

Actually, I'm pretty conservative on plenty of issues. That would be Goldwater/Reagan conservative, not Neo-conservative. You can't call what we see today conservative, it just isn't.

Yes, I think Nader is still in the race though we hear nothing about him.
AND.....Not voting at all.

I want to have a hand in electing the next president.

The closest platform to my personal views is that of Senator McCain. He is not perfect.
None of us are.
He sure beats the alternative by a large margin.

Here's the funny thing about that comment. 3 years ago when he opposed President Bush and even crossed part lines, the Dems made him a hero and tried to rub the Pres face in it. Now that he is the Rep nominee, he's the same as President Bush. I truly hope he's more like President Bush than Obama.

Nothing funny about the comment. Yeah he was independent back then, but what about now? Where are McCain's convictions now? He's towed the Bush line plenty as of late. I do not want another Bush in office. If he says he'll run the country his way and not continue the failed policies of this administration, I could change my mind. That would be the 'maverick' thing to do.
