It's not fair. I think all of these drugs should open to the public and sold over the counter. You KNOW that people need this medicine for their health. It's not fair that Oxy is 40-80 bucks a pill. I'm sure they don't cost that much to make. So what do you guys think? Make all narcotics over the counter? Now that would be freedom to be able to take care of yourself.

MILTON, Wash. – FBI and DEA agents raided nine homes and businesses in Pierce and King Counties Tuesday in a major Oxycontin drug bust.

The FBI says nine people were arrested. Among the items seized:

-Hundreds of prescription medications, including Oxycontin

-Fourteen guns

-Tens of thousands of dollars in cash

-Ten vehicles

The U.S. Attorney's office says five people thus far have been charged with Conspiracy to Distribute a controlled substance: Billy Miranda Flores, 40, of Puyallup; Bill Celeya Flores, 59, of Tacoma; Tiny Bean-Flores, 28, of Tacoma; Danny Lee Sherwood, 25, of Federal Way; and Shelbie Ingham, 18.

All five appeared in U.S. District Court and will remain locked up until Friday when they face detention hearings.

One more suspect, Jay Timothy Morehead, 24, is still on the loose.

FBI, DEA and local law enforcement raid an Indian Smoke Shop in Milton, Wash. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009.

According to the indictment, the arrests come after an 18 month investigation by the DEA and FBI. Prosecutors say Billy Flores was selling hundreds of pills of Oxycontin each day from the Indian Smoke Shop, which sits on Puyallup tribal land in Milton, and the Little Red Smoke Shop, which is on tribal land in Tacoma. He was allegedly the principal supplier of the drug to other members of the conspiracy, who then distributed it to others.

The indictment says his father, Bill Flores, sold the Oxycontin for between $40 and $80 per pill. The Flores' allegedly sold Oxycontin to undercover agents from their respective smoke shop businesses. Other members of the conspiracy allegedly facilitated drug deals between Flores and undercover agents and informants.

"We're not surprised in the least," said Alex Schauss, who lives across the street from the Little Red Smoke Shop in Tacoma. Schauss said parents in the neighborhood were afraid drugs were being dealt out of the tobacco stand.

"Every parent watches (their kids) like a hawk right now," said Schauss, "So maybe now we can rest easy."

At a home in Puyallup, officers were carting out load after load of evidence, including several boxes of DVD players, speakers and big screen TVs. Three people were arrested at the home.

Each person charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone is faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.

You're missing the point,Robert! These little crimes that don't hurt anyone should just not be a priority! Now,the big stuff.....crimes against the planet, hate crimes, inequities among broadcasters.....those things should be dealt with. The world community deserves nothing less.

Oxy is just a cleaner hit of heroine. The capsules themselves are time release. So what people do is bust them up, cook them and strain the fluid with a cotton ball, same as smack. Opiates are ridiculously expensive for what they do/are. Not to mention so addictive, that pain sufferers often have to go on lower dose opiates just to ween off of them. I'd never offer any opiate over the counter.

I've never seen Oxy in capsules. Just solid form. I'm doubting that people will pay 40-80 bucks for each pill just to bust them up and cook them. But I'm glad you're so educated on processing drugs.

My bad, yeah solid pressed not capsule. You can doubt all you want, its what people who want it to hit quicker do. Not too surprised you're not too educated on the legal and not-so-legal methods of dosage, I do my research before I go popping stuff.

aight man, take it from someone who has shot many OC's in my time. The first thing you want to do is take off the time release coating on the outside of the pill...you can do this by licking the pill and once a little moist you can just rub off the coating easily. The next thing you want to do is get your proper dose. (if you have used oxys in the past you should know how much to take, but you need to be careful because shooting a drug is much different then snorting or taking it orally. Use somewhat less then your normal dose because you dont want to even risk OD'ing your first time.)You can always use more if its not desirable. The next thing you want to do is crush the pill into a fine powder,or as much as possible. Then take a spoon or whatever your going to cook it over and place the powder in the spoon. Take some water and fill your syringe, depending upon the size of your syringe, fill about 1/4 - 1/2 way up...typical for a 1cc syringe...the less water the more concentrated your shot will be, thus stronger rush. take the water and put it over the powder in the spoon and mix together. Then you want to put a flame to the spoon until it dissolves the powder into a liquid. Then take a small peice of cotton and put it in the solution...this will filter out any bullshit in your solution. Then put the syringe into the cotton and pull the plunger back slowly until all of it is in the syringe. Once pulled up you are ready to shoot.KNOW HOW TO PUT A NEEDLE INTO YOUR BODY BEFORE YOU DO IT. IF NOT EXPERIENCED, HAVE SOMEONE COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO DO IT FOR YOU. MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN THE AREA YOU ARE SHOOTING INTO AND THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE. missing with oxys is not a good thing..i have seen many absesses from people that have missed shooting oxys so make sure your in the vein bvefore shotting...pull back a few times to see if blood rushes into the needle. If you get it right its abn awesome rush, i personally beleieve its a better rush than a loit of types of heroin on the street. have fun man but be safe...i got addicted to doing this exact same thing and it got me into a logt of trouble with my family and the law.....keep it in moderation and you will have a good time

Haha the poppy permit is a helluvalot harder to get than the medical mj permit. Besides, I avoid opiates like the plague! Hence the medical can card.

How proud you must be. I have other important things to do with my life than taking drugs.

And this only makes my point that the whole issue about medical marijuana is bogus. It's all about getting high. People are getting the pot without prescriptions and selling it on the streets to buy harder drugs. That's why we don't want pot legalized. It's corrupted right from the beginning.

Open those pretty little eyes, sunshine, and READ.

I have a legitimate problem with pain. I had been off of cannabis recreationally since high school and a little here and there in college. I was perscribed opiates. I did not like opiates. I cannot manage on opiates in the morning. I hate throwing up and looking like a fucking junkie. So I use mmj whenever I need it, instead of whenever I feel like it.

I did my research on how people take their meds and one I saw was busting them up like that. I hate needles, can't stand them. I have no piercings, no tattoos and have as many holes as I came with from factory. The problem some people have with oxy is that its time released and doesn't give you that instant relief you need. I don't know if you have ever broken a bone, but it hurts that bad at night when I'm trying to sleep so I can wake up and be productive at work.

Ok, I'm confused. You don't want time released so it won't work all night while you sleep? You'd rather have it work the second you take it and have the pain wake you up in the middle of the night again?

Maybe you need something different cause that one doesn't make sense.
