I tuned into Hannity and Colmes tonight and Hannity interviewed Michael Du-cock-ass. He axed him if he could name some Obama accomplishments and he couldn't. It was great. No one seems to be able to. But people will vote for him anyway.

Dems are a bunch of dumb ass', they'll vote for anyone who promises them money but they're not bright enough to figure out that it just doesn't grow on a tree in obamas back yard, it's going to come out of their pockets as well as big business' pockets which is going to chase more business out of the country and put more of them no good morons on the welfare line.

*sigh* what is it about you that wants to lump everyone in the same group? Do you think that maybe some of us democrats have enough insight to vote differently whenever we oppose something our denomination backs? I voted for Bush twice because of me being able to think for myself.

As for the topic, can anyone list McCain's accomplishments without google?

Could this be part of Obama's speech tonight:

Our task is not merely one of itemizing Republican failures. Nor is that wholly necessary. For the families forced from the farm do not need to tell us of their plight. The unemployed miners and textile workers know that the decision is before them in November. The old people without medical care, the families without a decent home, the parents of children without a decent school: They all know that it's time for a change.

We are not here to curse the darkness; we are here to light a candle. As Winston Churchill said on taking office some twenty years ago: If we open a quarrel between the present and the past, we shall be in danger of losing the future.

Today our concern must be with that future. For the world is changing. The old era is ending. The old ways will not do.

The above is from the 1960 Kennedy acceptance speech. Nothing has changed much for the democrats in nearly 50 years. Still using the same old excuses to get into power. Nothings been fixed by them when they do get in. Just more of the same crap.

Comparing Kennedy to Obamer?

If you knew anything about JFK, the comparison is laughable! He served several terms in the House and a full term in the Senate. He was known for getting things done, especially as a Cold Warrior (even working with a young Republican Richard Nixon!). He had a clear record of accomplishment before running for President. His philosophy would probably be characterized as 'conservative' today: cutting taxes, strong military, aggressive confrontation with the Communist threat. His book, "Profiles in Courage" is a classic; it's not about himself and relying on rhetoric, but about virtue and character. Go through each of these points and compare them with Obama. The only comparisons Obama can make are superficial ones: I'll announce in a stadium, too. As young as he was, JFK was leagues above what Obama could hope to be. We shouldn't find out what he can become with on-the-job training.
