Is anyone using a shorty Billet Antenna? Does it cause a loss of reception?

Had a 6" billet antenna on both my '03 Ram and '06 GC... no loss in reception. Just don't go cheap

I bought a 12" from 3rd Strike & notice no loss in reception. I do spend most of my time on Sirius & Ipod when out of the city though.

Purchased ours from Stylin Concepts. Dwayne did not have what I wanted. It is an 8" and no reception loss.

I bought the 12" Billet with the o-rings on it from Stylin Concepts on Tues on my way home from a job and installed it yesterday after we got home from Big Boy
 for dinner. Haven't had the truck out since to try it though.
