Well I finally got all my stero finished, only had the sub box I made to cover and bolt in to finish but it took me 3 month to get to it.
Here's my problem
When I carnk it all of my lights get the disco fever thing going.
I am thinking a capacitor will help but what size and where to I insert it into the system.
My setup as follows
Alpine 9845 Head
Alpine Type R's front and rear
Alpine 750 watt amp driving the door speakers
Alpine 10" type S sub
Alpine 600 watt amp driving the sub

How big a cap should I have and where in the power line should it be located??

you will notice a big difference with even a 1 farad cap or go to a 2 if you want to spend the money, i put mine just before my power distrubution block which is right before my 3 amps(i'm only running 1 farad and the lights dont dim with the bass)

I think the rule of thumb is 1 farad for every 1000 watts of power. The best place to put it is before the amps, whether that be before or after the ditribution block.
